What a wonderful time of the year to take a walk in to the country side, so that is just what Rocky and i did and here are a few pictures.
Now that the weather has slightly been improving and we have reached that time of year when there seems only to be a bank Holiday followed by another bank holiday and another and so on naturally more and more people are visiting the Lickey Hills which is great!
Unfortunately as the last picture shows there are a few people who i think love there home surrounding and environment so much that they gather them up and bring everything with them, this is fine we all have different ideas as to how we will enjoy our day out in the country side all be it different, what i do not understand is why when they have finished making them selves at home and decide to call it a day and return home do they leave everything thing they went to so much trouble to bring and drag half away round the Lickey hills only to leave it all behind.
Maybe they do relay believe that when every one has gone home and the park is quiet that out come to wombles and tidy it all up! if only it was that simple.
perhaps this will help them to understand that the wombles are a long way from home if they are tidying up the Lickey Hills which is unlikely i guess because they are far to busy tidying up Wimbledon common.
Lets hope these people who feel much happier surrounded by litter stop and think of the wild animals, horses, dogs, people, Babbie's and small children and the staff who have to come and remove it all.
